These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of KolaKnot, including our website at https://www.kolaknot.com/ , our mobile apps on Android and iOS, and other services we provide (collectively, the “Services”). By using our Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use KolaKnot.

Using KolaKnot

• • By creating an account or using KolaKnot, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
• • Terms apply to all users, including free or paid members.
• • Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates; major updates will be communicated via in-app notification or email.
• • Use KolaKnot only for its intended purpose: respectful and meaningful connections.
• • Do not circumvent or manipulate app features or security measures.
• • Interfering with the app may result in account suspension or legal action.

Eligibility

• • You must be at least 18 years old, or of the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account.
• • You confirm you have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement.
• • You represent that you have no felony convictions and are not required to register as a sex offender.

Your Account

• • Keep your login credentials confidential; do not share or transfer your account.
• • KolaKnot is not responsible for unauthorized access due to theft or misuse; report any such incidents immediately.
• • You are responsible for all activity and content associated with your account, including without limitation messages, posts, and interactions.
• • Ensure your content complies with applicable laws, including laws of your jurisdiction if accessing from outside the U.S.

Respect the Community

• • Treat all users with respect and fairness; harassment, threats, hate speech, bullying, spam, or abusive behavior is prohibited.
• • Do not post illegal, explicit, violent, or offensive content.
• • Provide accurate information and do not impersonate others or create fake accounts.
• • Services may not be used for commercial purposes, solicitation, fraud, scam, exploitation or illegal activities.
• • Do not share others’ private information without consent.
• • Exercise caution when interacting with others and report inappropriate behavior immediately to help maintain a safe community.
• • KolaKnot reserves the right to remove content or suspend or permanently ban accounts for violations.

Sharing Content

• • You retain ownership of any content you post, including photos, messages, and profile information.
• • By posting or sharing content, you grant KolaKnot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the app and related services.
• • Do not post content that infringes on the rights of others, including copyrights, trademarks, or privacy rights.
• • KolaKnot is not responsible for content posted by other users and does not guarantee its accuracy, reliability or safety.

Subscriptions & Payments

• • Certain features may require a subscription or one-time payment (e.g., advanced filters, unlimited messaging and unlimited likes).
• • By subscribing or making a payment, you authorize KolaKnot (or its third- party payment processor) to charge you for such Transaction and to charge your chosen payment method.
• • By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable Subscription Fee, taxes, and other charges at the start of your subscription and at the beginning of each renewal period.
• • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of your current Subscription period.
• • Subscription can be canceled anytime. Your Subscription will continue until the end of the Subscription period, and you are responsible for all payments until cancellation takes effect.
• • By subscribing, you acknowledge that your Subscription includes recurring payments and agree to pay all fees until you cancel.
• • Subscribers in the EU, EEA, UK, and Switzerland are entitled to a full refund within fourteen (14) days of the subscription start, in accordance with local law. Refunds must be requested through your payment provider (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play Store). For Apple subscriptions, refund requests are handled directly by Apple, and KolaKnot is not responsible for such refunds.
• • Subscribers in certain U.S. states may cancel within seventy-two (72) hours of purchase without penalty, as required by law. Specifically, in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, and Wisconsin, cancellation must occur by midnight of the third business day following purchase, excluding Sundays and holidays. Refunds for Apple ID purchases will be processed by Apple, not KolaKnot.
• • Except as stated above, all purchases are final and non-refundable.

Feedback

• • You may submit suggestions, ideas or feedback regarding Services through the app.
• • By submitting feedback, you grant KolaKnot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, copy, modify, distribute, or incorporate your feedback into the Services without obligation to you.
• • Feedback does not create any confidentiality obligation. KolaKnot may use feedback as its sole discretion to improve the Services.
• • Feedback must be your original work and not infringe on third-party rights.

Disputes & Arbitration

• • Disputes will first be attempted to resolve informally with KolaKnot, Inc.
• • Unresolved disputes will be settled through binding arbitration instead of in court, except where prohibited by law.
• • This Agreement is governed by applicable laws of the designated jurisdiction.

Termination

• • KolaKnot may terminate accounts that violate Terms or Community Guidelines.
• • Users may delete their accounts at any time through the app or by contacting info@kolaknot.com; this permanently removes messages, likes, matches, and premium features. Deleted accounts cannot be restored
• • KolaKnot may retain limited information for legal or regulatory purposes and may cooperate with authorities as required.
• • KolaKnot reserves the right to retain limited information for legal or regulatory purposes even after account deletion. We may cooperate with law enforcement or other authorities, including by disclosing User Content, when required by law or when we determine, in our sole discretion, that such disclosure is necessary to protect the safety or wellbeing of our users or others.

What We Can’t Promise

• • KolaKnot cannot guarantee attributes of any User, matches, frequencies of matches, connections, or relationships.
• • KolaKnot cannot guarantee that you will be compatible with those you match with.
• • KolaKnot cannot guarantee that that the individual you interact with or meet are safe people to meet. You are solely responsible for exercising due care and judgment when using the Services and communicating with other users.
• • The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose.
• • KolaKnot is not responsible for user interactions, personal outcomes, or emotional impacts.
• • Using KolaKnot is at your own risk, and you agree not to hold KolaKnot liable for personal, emotional, or financial outcomes.

Changes to Terms or Services

• • KolaKnot may update Terms or Services to improve app functionality, comply with legal requirements, or enhance user experience.
• • Updates will appear in the app; major changes may be communicated via in-app notifications or email.
• • Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of updated Terms. If you do not agree to be bound by the updated Terms, you may not use the Services anymore.

Copyright Policy

• • Do not upload content that infringes on others’ intellectual property rights.
• • Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display any content without explicit permission.
• • You agree not to upload content that infringes on others’ intellectual property rights, including copyrights, trademarks, or patents.
• • KolaKnot may remove content that infringes on intellectual property rights without notice.
• • Users who repeatedly submit infringing content may have their accounts suspended or permanently banned.
• • Copyright owners may submit a DMCA or similar notice to report alleged infringement.
• • KolaKnot. may terminate accounts or disable access in response to repeated infringement or to comply with legal obligations.
• • Submitting feedback or user-generated content grants KolaKnot, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it in the Services.

Privacy

• • By using KolaKnot, you consent to the collection, processing and storage of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
• • While we take measures to protect your information, no system is completely secure.

Limitation of Liability

• • KolaKnot and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

• • Use of Services is at your own risk, and you agree that KolaKnot Inc.’s total liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
